What is a Caregiver?
“Caregivers” are individual who assists others, most often seniors, engage in the daily activities of living, offer companionship, provide household upkeep and help with personal hygiene. Caregivers receive special training to deliver personalized care and services that enable people to remain living comfortably and safely in their own home.
What type of positions are available?
Trail Ridge Home Care has a range of job opportunities for Caregivers. Many positions focus on companion care, however we also have a number of positions that require Caregivers have more specialized training and skills. These Caregivers provide care to clients with advanced needs or memory care concerns such as Alzheimer’s care or dementia.
Do I need special training, certification or license to be a Caregiver?
Trail Ridge Home Care typically seeks people with prior healthcare experience, however previous experience is not a requirement for most entry-level Caregiver positions.
If you do not have healthcare experience Trail Ridge Home Care offers a complete Caregiver training program and can help you through the process.
